Meet the Boy & Girl of the Year
The Man & Woman of the Year Campaign is not complete without two very special Honored Heroes- the Boy & Girl of the Year!
Don and Maeve, both fighting B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, met at the MUSC Children's Hospital while receiving treatment and quickly became friends. We are grateful to their families for sharing their cancer journey with us and bringing awareness to the battle so many families face. Lean more about the 2021 Boy and Girl of the Year below.
What is the Man & Woman of the Year Campaign?
Man & Woman of the Year is a philanthropic competition to support blood cancer research among a group of motivated and dedicated individuals in communities across the United States. Candidates form powerful fundraising teams and compete in honor of two local children who are blood cancer survivors.
The man and woman who have raised the most funds during the ten-week campaign are awarded the prestigious title of Man or Woman of the Year in their community. The man and woman who have raised the most across the entire US will be recognized as the national Man & Woman of the year.
Congratulations to all 2020 Man & Woman of the Year candidates and team members. We are currently accepting nominations for 2021 candidates. For additional information please contact your local chapter.
