The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Presents

Man & Woman of the Year

Man & Woman of the Year is a philanthropic competition to support blood cancer research among a group of motivated and dedicated individuals in communities across the United States.  Candidates form powerful fundraising teams and compete in honor of two local children who are blood cancer survivors.

The man and woman who have raised the most funds during the ten-week campaign are awarded the prestigious title of Man or Woman of the Year in their community.  The man and woman who have raised the most across the entire US will be recognized as the national Man & Woman of the year.

Congratulations to all 2021 Man & Woman of the Year candidates and team members. We are currently accepting nominations for 2022 candidates. For additional information please contact your local chapter.

This year, we had 16 candidates and more than 150 team members come together to raise over $485,000 for LLS's mission to cure blood cancers.  Congratulations to all of our 2021 Southeast Georgia Man & Woman of the Year participants and to our Man of the Year Matt Usher with Team Love Like Susu and Runner Up David Wills with Team One Call away, and our Woman of the Year Caroline Gregory with Team Caroline's Crusaders and Runner Up Sandi Prosnitz with Team Got CUREage. We also want to congratulate our Citizenship Award Recipients; Ashli Clubine for Mission Integration, Rhett Robicheaux for Volunteerism, and Rachael Currie for Community Involvement. Finally, we want to recognize our Team Member of the Year, from Team Caroline's Crusaders, Ashleigh Womack-Seymore!
