The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Presents
Man & Woman of the Year
Man & Woman of the Year is philanthropic competition to support blood cancer research among a group of motivated and dedicated individuals in communities across the United States. Candidates form powerful fundraising teams and compete in honor of two local children who are blood cancer survivors.
The man and woman who have raised the most funds during the ten-week campaign are awarded the prestigious title of Man or Woman of the Year in their community. The man and woman who have raised the most across the entire US will be recognized as the national Man & Woman of the year.
Congratulations to all 2017 Man & Woman of the Year candidates and team members. Last year our local candidates raised an amazing $372,537, and this year our goal is to raise $500,000! Help us make history for a cure!

Local Campaign Events
The Man & Woman of the Year campaign begins with a local kickoff event. At the kickoff, candidates and their campaign teams learn more about LLS’s mission, get to know their fellow candidates and meet the local Boy & Girl of the Year.
The program culminates with candidates and their guests joining sponsors and other prominent community members at a Grand Finale celebration for the announcement of the Man and Woman of the Year. The outstanding achievements of all candidates are celebrated at the Grand Finale event, which inclu
